Thunderbirds Are Go - Tell Max I Love Him (Part 2)

Whatever I choose to write here will immediately and entirely overshadowed by the magnificent happening that is Brains attempting to participate in a rescue, so I'm not going to do anything other than tell you this is taken from Episode 6 "Runaway" and remind you, if you haven't already done so, to watch Part 1 for more absolutely hilarious Brains panic attacks. What did you think of Episode 6?...

Whatever I choose to write here will immediately and entirely overshadowed by the magnificent happening that is Brains attempting to participate in a rescue, so I'm not going to do anything other than tell you this is taken from Episode 6 "Runaway" and remind you to watch Part 2. Oh yes, there is a Part 2! How could there not be a Part 2 when Brains' scream is so utterly, utterly hilarious. I'm...
Thunderbirds Are Go - Bombs Away!

If we were to write down every reason why we watch Thunderbirds, the thrill of watching a classic rescue sequence would be pretty high up on the list. With that in mind, check out this operation from Episode 9 "Tunnels of Time" in which Virgil and Gordon attempt to rescue some miners trapped by a landslide. All seems to be going well as Gordon uses a bulldozer pod to clear excess rubble, but wh...

Picking up where I left off, here's a video taken from Episode 7 "EOS". John is stranded in space when an unknown artificial intelligence takes over command of Thunderbird 5 and seals all external airlocks. With his air supply rapidly running out, John must find a way to contact Tracy Island and persuade his brothers that he is the real John, and not a virtual replica controlled by the evil com...

I'm back peepuls!!! :D And for my first video in a while, here is something a little different - I've seen a lot of videos showing the 'Thunderbirds Are Go' opening credits edited to the old (and boy is it wonderful) music flying around RUclips, but not so many with the old footage and new music. Since it has just been released, here for your (I hope!) viewing pleasure is a rather jolly set of ...

Taken from Episode 8 "Slingshot", this clip features Kayo and (a very sleepy) Alan blasting off to rescue a lone engineer trapped on an asteroid heading towards the sun. Sound familiar? I thought so. Anyway, it's a long journey, and Alan is bored. This can mean only one thing; Zombie time! What did you think of Episode 8? Did you like how the characters are developing? Let me know in the commen...

Taken from Episode 8 "Slingshot", this clip features John Tracy returning to Earth for the first EVER time this series! In line with the new technical developments we've seen in the new show, it seems they've thought this one out carefully as well. But, I won't spoil it! Watch the video and tell me what you think of both the landing method and the episode in the comments below! Oh, and also, th...

Okay, I need to talk about the dive Tintin takes. It's not actually hundreds of feet she falls. Hell, she doesn't even fall 100 feet. The bridge nearby the monorail in this scene is the Westminster Bridge. Using very rough measurements, we can assume that the height of the monorail is around 1 and a half times the height of the bridge. The bridge is only 5.4m tall, or 17.7 feet. We do the math and Tintin dives from roughly 8.2m or 26.9 feet (this is including the slight height difference between the monorail and the TB2 platform she is standing on). With this knowledge, it is way more than likely that she could survive the dive with no injury when you take into account that competitive diving boards have a maximum height of 10m or 33 feet. Why does it look like she fell hundreds of feet? Because movie editing made it look like a bigger dive than it really was. Even if the monorail was double the height of the bridge, Tintin is only looking at a 8.8 - 9m dive, which again, is more than possible to do with no injury so long as your dive and form are correct, which Tintin's were. There we go. Argument solved. Could someone really survive this dive? Yes. Absolutely.

I like to think that when Bill Paxton and Sir Ben Kingsley was offered the roles they basically said: "Meh, I need a quick paycheck." Great effects. On and off again acting. TERRIBLE writing. Small wonder that a sequel was never seriously considered.

You know, Mother Barnabas from "Pan" could look like Sister Regina from the novel "A Girl Called Blue" that I've read in primary school. And Peter could look like Blue/ Bernadette. Sister Regina was a nasty nun who shouted at Blue, and Blue was really sad that she didn't like Larch Hill the orphanage that she lived since her mother died and her father went to work in a different country. Sister Regina: You know, Bernadette? Every little orphan dreams she's special! That she'll be the one whose father comes skipping back for her. But your daddy's never skipping! And why is that hmmm? Because you're not special, Bernadette! And not even special in your own way. You're just a nasty little creature, abandoned girl whose mother died and a helpless daddy whose forgotten you exist!!!

IMHO, I hope the MCU gets this aspect of the X-Men right, they are kinda like IR (International Rescue) for the Marvel Universe. The Blackbird is their Thunderbird 2, and their specialised powers give them that same feeling of all the rescuer devices the Thunderbirds use. I'm sure that I'm not the only one to think of the possibility.

Best part of the movie, which was okay when it dealt with what Thunderbirds is supposed to be about -- rescues! The rest -- the Spy Kids stuff -- was pretty dire. Even the theme song got it wrong: IR is a rescue organisation, not the World Police.

As someone born in the 90s and raised on the original show, i despised this movie. It felt like a cheap Disney tv movie. I often wondered why they couldn't just create a live action of the Thunderbirds Are Go film or an intense and gritty love action TV show based on the series.

Magic, excitement, wonders, imagination, action, fantasy, thrills, and adventures. The beginning of the story of Peter Pan. In the story, I only knew Peter ran away from home the day he was born. His parents kept saying what he would be when he grows up and the boy didn't want to grow up, so he ran away. Peter ended up in Kensington Garden, London, that's how he met Tinker Bell and the fairies. They taught him to fly and brought him to Neverland. Second star to the right and the straight on till morning. Sometime later, the little boy missed his mother, so he decided to return to his window, only to find it shut closed, and a new baby boy slept in his bed, replaced him. Peter's parents had forgotten him. Then he returned to Neverland where he truly belonged. Who would have thought the mother of Peter Pan left Neverland to protect her child by leaving him in an orphanage until he was ready to face his destiny and fulfill the prophecy. Mary sacrificed herself for Peter. So the boy who never grows up is a half-breed - Half human, half fairy. Imagine that. I never give up believing in fairies and magic with all my heart because I still refuse to grow up, and forget about the precious things I knew, especially those from my childhood. I am like Peter Pan and have his youthful spirit. Believe in magic and never grow up. My one and only wish is to keep the magic alive for all time. And I also wish to be a fairy to stay strong, childlike, and young, and beautiful forever and ever like Tinker Bell, and the other fair folks. No growing up, yuck! Fantasy rules and reality sucks! 🧚🧚‍♂🧚‍♀⭐🌟🌠
